Riders of H.O.P.E.

Mission Statement?

The purpose of the Riders of HOPE is to share the love of Christ through our testimony and lifestyle. Our desire is to see people come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and to disciple them to live a life that is pleasing to God.

Our mission is to serve the Lord by sharing all He has given us. We want to care for others by helping them learn to love, and learn to accept love. Working with horses is not about being the boss or showing the horse who's boss. It's about developing a relationship with the horse that requires the horse to not only submit to the rider but to choose to embrace the rider's commands. It mirrors God's relationship with us. It's about being patient, and gentle and kind.

Our goal is to learn to trust, accept responsibility and use self-control and to teach others. By working together and using positive reinforcement, we learn nurturing and communication skills, and conflict resolution. God's word never changes, but can be taught in many different ways. Remember, He once used a donkey to speak through, why not a horse?

Our focus is always on Jesus and how we can best serve Him. We can hear the hoof beats of His return and we are riding even now with the armies of heaven following Him, spreading the Gospel of Peace.

Revelation 19:11 & 14: I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called faithful and true. With justice, he judges and makes war. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean.
